Back for 2011, it’s the Air NZ Kids at Christmas Charity Auction.. starting Monday 5th December – we’re always happy to help out where we can and it’s a pleasure to be involved again.

Follow the link below to checkout some great items. As always, all funds raised from the 2011 Kids at Christmas Charity Auction go towards these 2 deserving causes. All products are fully donated by Air New Zealand and their generous partners.

Kids restore New Zealand Kids restore New Zealand is a project to help young people involved with environmental issues. Students have the opportunity to show leadership by identifying an environmental challenge in their community and working with other groups to develop a plan to make change. Kids restore New Zealand provides grants for environmental projects which are being led by young people. This could be replanting a waste area, developing a wetland park, cleaning up and regenerating a local stream, planting a forest of native trees for the future or developing an area to be free of predators. A local beach may need planting to stop erosion or a hillside could be replanted to protect other trees from falling. Or it could be as simple as cleaning up a local park where children can play.

Ronald McDonald House – Wellington Ronald McDonald House in Wellington has offered a home to sick children and their families from around the central region for the past 16 years. Due to an unfortunate rise in demand for their services, Ronald McDonald House needs to increase the number of beds it offers. So the organisation is building a brand new $14 million home. The new facilities will be able to accommodate up to 34 families at one time – a significant increase from the 12 that can stay there now.

Here at sella we’re a sucker for a good cause. So when we had the chance to help Bayleys and The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind, we jumped at it like a just-awake labrador pup.

sella is proud to support The Great Guide Dog Online Auction for 2011.

The Great Guide Dog Online Auction is a huge fundraising collaboration between the Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind’s Guide Dog Services, and real estate agency Bayleys.

The aim is to raise more than $500,000, which will go to training many valuable guide dogs for blind and partially sighted New Zealanders. You can find out more on our About the Charity page

Auckland Grammar Charity Auction

The 2010 Auckland Grammar School Foundation Trust Dinner Charity Auction is underway on www.sella.co.nz once again.

Following on from the success of the auction in 2009, Auckland Grammar School has listed close to 60 exciting $1 Reserve items.

Up for grabs includes sporting memorabilia, artworks, gift products, education tuition, music vouchers and even a free range ham.

Auctions continue until next Thursday, the 3rd of June, with all proceeds going directly to Auckland Grammar School.
