The developers are kept on their toes here at sella, continually rolling out new features and functionality. Some of the highlights released early this morning are:
- Improved top search bar, with added browsing functionality
- “Suggest a similar item link” for expired listings, helping buyers find your listings through Google and other search engines.
- New and improved pages in our Help section.
- Improvements to post sale results lists as requested by users.
- Agent Details, Email & Google Maps have been added to Property Listings.
- Plus over 100 general site improvements and bug fixes.
Hopefully these improvements make the site even better for you to sell and buy on. If there’s something you’d like to see then feel free to leave a comment.

Hi, I would like to make a suggestion regarding the “page views”.
At the moment when a seller is listing an item it shows up as 2 views when it is published! Also, when a seller needs to edit an item it then counts as another view. How about making the page view count only happen when buyers are looking at an item. This way the actual views per item will be correct.
Also, in the sellers “in progress” page, could we have the view count next to each item as we do with the “bids” & “watching”. That way we can get a more accurate picture of how individual auctions are doing.
Thanks

Hi there, yip, good ideas. Both of those suggestions are due to be released before christmas, hopefully around mid October.
Thanks

Hi
In the jewelry & beading catagory could we please, please have a sub catagory for
“Links & Connectors”.
These are an integral part of jewelry making & I feel that they deserve their own catagory. At the moment these items are hard to find as they are scattered through out 3 or 4 different areas in this
department.
Thanks

Re: “page view” issue, do you have an ETA on that? Nothing seems to be done yet & you said before christmas.
Also a couple of other suggestions.
1: On the “sellers in Progress” page, how about another filter to show auctions been watched. It saves having to trawl through all the pages to see if there is any interest.
2: When editing an item, at the moment, it also extends the auction for another week. Can we do without the extension. Alot of people can’t be bothered to wait so long for an auction to end
Thanks

Hi there
yip, the page view issue is going out next week, around Wednesday
We’ve taken note of your other couple suggestions – we thought the extension might work well, but we have had a few other people let us know that they would prefer it the other way, so we will be changing that back too
Thanks

Hi, it’s me again!
I have noticed that when loading in my customised shipping options, it automatically gets sorted numerically, because of this my “primary” shipping option gets “shunted” down the line!
E.g: My chosen options are in the following order:
$1.50 – single item
$2.50 – Combined 2 or more
$0.00 – shipping with other auctions
What happens is my 3rd option ends up at the top & looks likes this:
$0.00 – shipping with other auctions
$1.50 – single item
$2.50 – Combined 2 or more
As a result some people click on that as it is at the top & looks like the primary shipping option.
Could we please have it so that when we load the shipping options in, thay stay in the order they were loaded.
Thanks
Diana

Hi Diana,
We completely agree and this is something that is currently being worked on.
A fix to this is to be included in our next release which is due out over the next 4 weeks.
Thanks again

Hi
Could we PLEASE PLEASE have the page view count on the front page of the “in progress’ tab for items we are selling.
This way we don’t have keep going into each individual item to see if there is any interest.
We aready have bidders & watchers, why not page views? Every other online auction site has it.
Forever hoping

Hi guys
Thanks for all th enhancements – may they continue!
Couple of things I have noticed though.
When listing an item & also when an item is auctomatically relisted, it still comes up as having 1 view showing.
Also I have noticed that in the stats page, views are coming up within a catagory that I haven’t even got a listing for, & in some catagories where I do have listings, it shows no views in the stats page but does show views in the “selling” page.
This all leads to rather confusing & inacurate stats.
Thanks
